Ben Folds Concert by Jeff

I think its pretty lame that only Mom and I use this bad boy! I guess that means more cool posts for me!

So this last Wednesday Sharlene and I went with a couple of my friends from my mission to see Ben Folds in concert at the Saltair. This was the third time for me seeing Ben in concert and the first time for Sharlene. It was a blast!!

There were some downsides though. For starters, there were 4 groups that opened for Ben. And there are no seats, so you stand the whole time. So by the middle of Ben's performance, Sharlene gave up standing and we had to go off to the side so she could sit down.

The other poopy thing was that since Sharlene is really short, she couldn't really see Ben. I took this picture with this blog in mind so that I could show everyone what Sharlene saw at the concert.

But it was s sweet concert! Ben played 3 new songs that will be on his new CD that will be out in September! Booyah!

Brooke's Bridal Shower

We had Brooke's bridal shower April 12th for the Mecham and Hampton families, Hopefully we didn't scare her off. Tami gave her a shirt that said Bride on it and Sharlene & Kylie gave her a sash and a tiara.

Grandpa Mecham was quick to give her a hug and welcome her to the family.

Nita & Lance's sisters got her alot of cleaning supplies. Brooke was tickled with the magic erasers,

Sharlene and Kylie had some real fun games that we played, I hope they didn't embarrass Brooke's younger sisters.











Alot of the Mecham aunts and Grandma went in and bought a BBQ grill and chairs and a cooler.

Conference Weekend

I love conference weekend!

Scott and I were the only ones home for the morning session and I was so touched by the spirit when were were able to stand and sustain Pres. Monson as our Prophet.

Mike and Brooke had tickets to the 2nd session and they took Kylie with them.


As our tradition us girls went to Olive Garden for girls night out, we invited Brooke with us and we were able to get to know her better. As you can see by the pictures, I don't think she will have any problems fitting in with Kylie and Sharlene.

We went to Tai Pan for some shopping and well lets say the girls didn't' shop much. But they did have alot of fun! And before you think Tami has her camera again. It was Sharlene's and the girls begged me to take the pictures.

When we got home the boys were there from priesthood and Mike and Jeff were playing wii In their Sunday clothes still on.

Mike still hates to lose, so he was not a huge fan of the wii sports!
This was his first time playing it, while the others have been playing it for a few weeks.

We got the wedding invitations today, the happy couple are hoping to have us ready to mail put by next weekend.
